Kuantan Christian Cemetery
There were recent reports in a local daily that the local Christian Cemetery had been vandalised. I was back home for the Chinese New Year and my curiosity got the better of me and I drove down to have a look since I have relatives buried there.
Sad to say the report was true as you can see from the pictures below. There were previous attacks but that was attributed to a mentally unstable man. This recent attack I think can be attributed to the mentally uneducated ignorant mind, what with the recent 'Allah' debacle engineered by the ruling government.
But one of the central themes (for want of a better word) of Christianity is forgiveness. No point getting worked up over this. Things will blow over.
This particular cemetery is the final resting place of several colonial officers.
and also the resting place of one of Kuantan's famous sons
Matthew 6:14-15
For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins

Sungai Rengit, Pengerang, Johor
Spent approximately 8 hours on the road (return) to get to this little town at the very southern tip of Johor. Met up with some of the locals who needed some simple advise on some issues of government land acquisition.
I must say it is one of the smallest towns that I've been to in Malaysia. Feels more like a village actually. The people were friendly and the food was good. Nuff said.
Here's a picture of a local guy riding his bike the way it should be ridden.
